Pratiksha Gaikwad

  • Bachelor of Science and Master of Science (2015-2020) from the  Department of Chemistry, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur.
  • Pratiksha is working on new wavefunction methods for describing strongly correlated systems, and methods to include dynamic correlation in multireference calculations.

Rugwed Lokhande

  • Bachelors and master of science (2015-2020) from Indian Institute of science education and research (IISER), Pune.
  • Rugwed is working on new wavefunction methods to describe strong correlation, including flexible perturbative approaches.

Kenneth López Pérez

  • My name is Kenneth, I am from Costa Rica. I did my Bachelors and Licentiate degree in Chemistry at the University of Costa Rica. I used to be a GenChem lecturer at the same institution, I really enjoy teaching. At the University of Florida, I am doing research on cheminformatics and computational drug design. Currently, I am using the group’s extended similarity framework to explore the chemical space and to enhance Machine Learning models to predict relevant drug properties. On my free time I like to dance latin dances and hip-hop, working out and watching reality tv shows. Pura Vida!

Lexin Chen

  • I am a graduate student in the pchem division. I completed my Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry at Stony Brook University. My main research interest is developing algorithms for clustering, data analysis of Molecular Dynamics simulations, and Charge Transfer studies. I create aesthetic science renderings and watch late-night shows in my free time.

ALUMNI

Tim Dunn

  • Bachelor of Science from Northern Kentucky University and Master of Science from the University of Notre Dame.
  • Tim enjoys bowling and working on new extended similarity indices and their applications on chemical and biochemical problems.

Taewon David Kim

  • PhD, McMaster University.
  • David is working on FANCI and Fanpy, in particular, on new Machine Learning-inspired corrections to improve the accuracy of multireference wavefunctions, and novel wavefunction-in-wavefunction embedding techniques.
