Pratiksha Gaikwad

  • Bachelor of Science and Master of Science (2015-2020) from the  Department of Chemistry, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur.
  • Pratiksha is working on new wavefunction methods for describing strongly correlated systems, and methods to include dynamic correlation in multireference calculations.

Rugwed Lokhande

  • Bachelors and master of science (2015-2020) from Indian Institute of science education and research (IISER), Pune.
  • Rugwed is working on new wavefunction methods to describe strong correlation, including flexible perturbative approaches.

Kenneth López Pérez

  • My name is Kenneth, I am from Costa Rica. I did my Bachelors and Licentiate degree in Chemistry at the University of Costa Rica. I used to be a GenChem lecturer at the same institution, I really enjoy teaching. At the University of Florida, I am doing research on cheminformatics and computational drug design. Currently, I am using the group’s extended similarity framework to explore the chemical space and to enhance Machine Learning models to predict relevant drug properties. On my free time I like to dance latin dances and hip-hop, working out and watching reality tv shows. Pura Vida!

Krisztina Zsigmond

Graduate student in the pchem division working on Perturbation Theory, new wavefunctions for strong correlation, and similarity-based approaches in ML and drug design. An expert Python and C++ coder with a deep love for math. Krisztina loves swimming, biking, and running (in this specific order.)

Akash Surendran

Graduate student working on the fastest methods to traverse chemical space, leveraging similarity tools in novel ML pipelines. An expert coder and mathematician that is also a fan of football teams that don’t often win the Champions League.

Jherome Brylle Woody A. Santos

Graduate student leading our molecular dynamics work through the MDANCE package. Jherome is the best nature photographer in Florida.

Ignacio Pickering

Postdoc working on everything related to MD + ML + drug design + GPU + code optimization. Teaching machines how to learn, while learning to climb.
